The house has been constructed on the foundations of an ancient barn forming a part of the farm of Casanova di Ricavo. The farm is located in the territory of Gaiole in Chianti, more precisely in Lecchi in Chianti, near to Radda, the ancient main town of the Lega del Chianti. The house offers to its guests the opportunity of tasting a variety of home made products (wine, vinegar, olive oil and vinsanto). All of these are produced directly on the farm itself. The guests can also visit many ancient and historical towns very near to Lecchi (Siena, Firenze, San Gimignano, Pienza, Montalcino to name only the most famous). In Lecchi in Chianti, approximatevely 200 yards from the house you can find a food shop selling fresh fruit and vegetables and a typical local restaurant having an accord with our agritourism. We plan also to offer some visits to the countryside around the farm to give you the chance to appreciate the Chianti Hills and to immerse yourself in the incomparable local nature. Some 250 yards from the house there is the possibility to enjoy the natural baths called ‘Pozze di Lecchi’.
